I’ve recently been diving into the world of smart home security with Wyze cameras and integrating them with Hubitat. It’s been an exciting journey, but there have been a few bumps along the way! I wanted to share my experiences and some tips that might help others who are just starting out.
First off, setting up the cameras themselves was pretty straightforward. The Wyze app makes it easy to connect and configure, and the integration with Hubitat has worked seamlessly for the most part. For those looking to take it a step further, I’ve heard great things about using Wyze cameras alongside other smart home devices. For example, you could set up a rule where lights turn on automatically if motion is detected at night. The possibilities are endless!
