I recently purchased a large 72-inch smart ceiling fan and have been exploring how to integrate it into my existing SmartThings setup. Currently, all my older fans and lights are connected via GE smart switches, which work perfectly. However, these new fans come with their own remotes and wall plates, and I’m curious about the best way to incorporate them into my smart home ecosystem without juggling multiple apps.
I’ve come across Bond, but the additional cost is a bit of a hurdle. Is there a more affordable or seamless method to integrate this smart fan, along with my wall-controlled fireplace, into SmartThings? I’d love to hear from others who’ve successfully integrated similar devices or have tips on achieving a unified control system. Any insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
