Hello everyone, I’m currently working on setting up smart lighting in my apartment using a Vera Lite hub. I’ve managed to connect a few Z-Wave switches and controllers, but I’m running into an issue with automating the accent lights. The lights are plugged into external Z-Wave switches, and I want them to turn on and off when the wall switch is toggled.
My idea is to attach a Z-Wave light controller to the outlet controlled by the wall switch. Then, I need to program the Vera Lite to send commands to these Z-Wave devices based on whether they’re connected or disconnected from the network. I’m wondering if there’s a way to trigger these commands without physically interacting with the Vera interface.
I’ve read through some forums and guides, but I’m still not entirely sure how to set this up. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! Also, if anyone has successfully integrated similar setups, I’d love to hear about your experiences. Thanks in advance for your help!
