I recently came across a feature in the SmartThings app that allows setting up guest access codes for my smart lock. It’s pretty cool because I can assign specific names to each code, like ‘Bob’ or ‘Jane’, and receive notifications when they unlock the door. However, I’m wondering if there’s a way to take this a step further by triggering specific routines or automations based on who unlocks the door. For instance, when Bob uses his code, I’d love for certain lights to turn on or maybe even have Alexa greet him by name. I’ve looked through the settings and can’t seem to find an option to link these codes to routines directly. Is this something that’s possible, or am I missing a trick here? Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated!
