Integrating Smart Thermostats and Overcoming Challenges with KNX Covers

I’ve been on a journey to integrate smart devices into my home, and one of the most exciting projects has been upgrading our thermostat. After researching various options, I decided to go with the Honeywell T6 Pro Z-Wave. The installation was a breeze—simply replacing the old unit on the existing mount. While it’s similar to our previous model, the programmable features and integration with Home Assistant have been a game-changer. However, getting the vacation mode to work seamlessly was a bit of a puzzle. I’m curious if others have faced similar challenges or have tips to share!

On another note, I’ve also been experimenting with KNX covers for my window blinds. Everything works smoothly except for one minor issue: when raising the blinds from a partially open position, they don’t stop at 0% but continue signaling for the full travel time. It’s a small inconvenience, but I’d love to hear if anyone has found a workaround or a tweak in the configuration that resolves this. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

Overall, the process has been incredibly rewarding, and I’m excited to continue exploring how to optimize my smart home setup. If anyone has similar experiences or questions, feel free to share—let’s learn together!
