Integrating Smart Thermostats with Z-Wave Compatibility

Hello everyone, I’ve been exploring the integration of smart thermostats into my home automation setup and wanted to share my experiences and findings. I recently purchased a MicroModule qubino and a Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range GPIO Module to control my electric heaters. While I’ve managed to set up the basics, I’m still figuring out the compatibility between these devices and Z-Wave JS.

I’ve noticed that the GPIO module doesn’t explicitly mention Z-Wave JS compatibility, which is a bit concerning. I’m located in the EU, so I believe I need the non-Long Range (LR) version. I’d love to hear from anyone who has successfully integrated similar modules with Z-Wave JS. Any advice on ensuring seamless communication between the GPIO and the Qubino module would be greatly appreciated!

Additionally, I’ve been experimenting with different thermostat settings and would love to hear about others’ experiences with similar setups. Are there any specific configurations or best practices that have worked well for you?

Looking forward to your insights and tips!
