I’ve been researching ways to better protect my home from potential water damage, and I’m really curious about the Fortrezz water sensor and shut-off valve system. Has anyone had success using Fortrezz products? I’d love to hear about your experiences and whether you’ve confirmed that the new WWA-02 sensor works with Vera 2. Also, I’m wondering if this setup is a better solution than using a dedicated unit like the Floodstop Washing Machine Valve Shutoff Kit.
I’ve also heard about setting up smart lighting routines, but I ran into an issue trying to get my fully dimmable smart lights to ramp brightness using Alexa. I followed all the instructions, but the “Ramp brightness” option just doesn’t show up in the app anymore. It’s frustrating because I can manually control the brightness, but automating it has been a challenge. Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution?
On a lighter note, I’ve been experimenting with some DIY projects for my home, and I’ve got to say, the Govee strip lights and mini lamps have been a game-changer for creating cozy atmospheres. They’re so versatile and really add that extra touch to any room.
If anyone has tips or tricks for integrating water sensors or troubleshooting smart lighting issues, I’d love to hear them! Let’s share our experiences and learn from each other. Happy smart home tinkering! ![]()
