Integrating Smart Zigbee Light Switches for Seamless Control

Hi everyone, I’m currently working on upgrading my home lighting system to be more integrated and user-friendly. I have four rooms, two of which already have smart lighting, while the other two still rely on traditional switches. The challenge I’m facing is that turning off the physical switch in any room, even those with smart bulbs, completely cuts the power, which is quite inconvenient.I came across the Sonoff ZBMINIL2 as a potential solution. From what I understand, this device can be installed directly into existing switch boxes, turning them into smart switches. However, I’m unsure if it can work seamlessly with the smart lights I already have. My main concern is whether the ZBMINIL2 can be configured to send Zigbee signals to toggle the lights without actually cutting the power. This would allow me to use the physical switches as smart controls, maintaining the functionality of my smart bulbs.I’d love to hear from anyone who has experience with the Sonoff ZBMINIL2 or similar devices. Have you managed to integrate them with existing smart lighting systems? Are there any specific settings or configurations that are crucial for this setup? Additionally, if anyone has tips on ensuring a smooth installation or troubleshooting common issues, I’d be very grateful. This project is a bit out of my comfort zone, so any guidance or shared experiences would be incredibly helpful. Looking forward to learning from the community and hopefully finding a solution that works perfectly for my setup!
