Hello everyone, I’m excited to share my journey of integrating SONOFF and Hue devices to create a seamless smart lighting system. I recently installed a SONOFF 01MINIZB in my guest bathroom, aiming to trigger actions when the lights turn on. However, I noticed that the device doesn’t update its status when manually switched, unlike the Philips Hue Bridge which works perfectly. I’m using Phoscon on a Raspberry Pi 3 with the Conbee II USB Stick, running version 2.05.74. Has anyone encountered this issue or have a workaround? I’d love to hear your experiences and solutions!
On another note, I’ve been using Philips Hue Soft White bulbs for a while now, and they’ve been a great addition to my smart lighting setup. However, recently, the Soft White setting started behaving more like Daylight White. It’s a bit puzzling, and I’m wondering if others are facing the same issue. Have you noticed any changes in bulb behavior or found a fix? I’m curious to know if this is a known issue or if there’s a specific setting I might have overlooked.
I’m also experimenting with creating custom scenes and automations using these devices. It’s fascinating to see how integrating different brands can enhance functionality, but it does come with its challenges. I’m eager to learn more about others’ strategies for a smooth integration experience.
Thank you all for your insights and tips! Let’s continue to explore and optimize our smart homes together. ![]()
