I’ve been exploring ways to integrate my Sonos speakers with motion sensors to create a subtle alert system, especially for nighttime use. Previously, I had a setup where a motion detector would trigger a quiet sound through my Sonos speaker, which was perfect for gently waking us up if a child wandered downstairs. However, after updating to the latest SmartThings app, this functionality seems to have disappeared, and the only option now is to sound a siren, which is much louder and disruptive. I’d love to get that quiet alert feature back! Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround? I’d appreciate any tips or suggestions from the community.
