Integrating Yoolax Zigbee and RF434MHz Blinds with Homey

I recently purchased the Yoolax blinds and am excited to integrate them with my Homey setup. Currently, the Zigbee functionality is only supported via Amazon Echo/Alexa, which limits my options for a more seamless integration. I attempted to connect them as Xiaomi devices, but they only registered as generic Zigbee devices, which isn’t ideal for my setup.

I’m curious about the possibility of developing a custom driver or application to connect these blinds directly to Homey. Alternatively, utilizing RF434MHz communication could be a workaround, but I’m not sure where to start. Has anyone successfully created or adapted a driver for similar devices? Any guidance or resources would be greatly appreciated!

Another angle I’m exploring is analyzing the RF434MHz control sequences. I have a DSS receiver/spectrum analyzer, which could help sniff the signals, but this seems like a lot of work. Has anyone tackled a similar project? Sharing experiences or challenges would be invaluable.

I’m also wondering if there’s a way to check if the Yoolax blinds share the same RF434 control sequences as other, already-supported devices. This could potentially save time and effort in development. Any insights or tools for this kind of analysis would be a huge help.

Overall, I’m eager to find a solution that allows me to fully integrate these blinds into my smart home ecosystem. Whether it’s through custom coding, RF analysis, or leveraging existing integrations, I’m open to any suggestions or advice the community can offer. Let’s brainstorm together!
