Great line-up :+1:, the only thing I miss is the ability to unlock via UWB from Apple Watches/iPhones. Is it possible to add this later via a firmware update?

Thanks for your support! We appreciate the feedback. Currently, UWB unlocking is not supported, and we don’t have plans for a firmware update regarding this feature at the moment.

So this new smart lock doesn’t have all the features that u400 have?if that sow then what is the point of it?as I saw the video and to me personally beside that is to bulky if someone have the u200 doesn’t need to upgrade since doesn’t bring to much improvements beside the size of it.why you do not release an portal opener too?for many ppl who lives on billing’s witch have an portal door witch could be also automated with an device like Nuki or ring.do something like that instead of waiting time on releasing smart looks witch are more bulky and doesn’t bring nothing new to the table.just saying

This series currently does not support UWB functionality, but it does support “Tap to Unlock” via Apple HomeKey.

The primary distinction between the U500 and U400 lies in the U500’s integrated lock body. This design eliminates limitations imposed by the varying lock body specifications found across different regions, thereby expanding the range of applicable scenarios—such as wooden doors where installing a separate lock body is not feasible, ornamental iron gates with gaps, and glass doors.

Still the u200 in my opinion is better and not so bulky on the door as U500 is but what I do not understand why doesn’t have UWB?for me personally an smart lock is not just fingerprint, keypad or open it with my phone is the lock that opens the door for me without me doing nothing.when I come from shopping with my both hands full of bags my smart lock should open the door for me so I can just steep in and shut it behind and that is what is the difference between Nuki and aqara.I am using Nuki smart lock and this use GPS to know when you are on example 100m from the door and when you are 2m near the door it opens it for you without the need to add code,fingerprint or take my phone from my pocket and is Apple home compatible to point this too.now this is what I personally want from an smart lock.i am not saying that aqara smart locks are bad I just saying that many lacks of features witch for me personally are an must

UK homes need a true Euro cylinder + multipoint smart lock with BS3621 compliance, not just a gate lock adaptation. Hopefully Aqara will consider a future U600 series designed specifically for British composite/uPVC doors.

Yeah. I just watched a video on this. I was surprised not to see a Euro Cylinder as most UK insurance companies now expect a BS3621 compliant lock. Not necessary for multipoint, but they are looking for a eurocylinder.
