I recently upgraded my security system to the Qolsys IQ Panel 2, and I must say, the integration with Alarm.com video services has been a game-changer! 
Being able to view live streams from my compatible Alarm.com IP cameras directly on the IQ Panel 2 screen has added a whole new layer of convenience and security to my home setup. Here’s my experience and some tips for anyone looking to integrate their system:
Setup Process
- Compatibility Check: First, I made sure my IQ Panel 2 was running firmware version 2.2.0 or higher. It was already updated, so that was one less thing to worry about!

- Doorbell Notifications: The notifications for motion or button presses on my Alarm.com doorbell cameras are incredibly useful. I can see who’s at the door without even getting up!
- Same Network Requirement: It’s important to note that all cameras need to be on the same LAN network as the alarm panel for this to work seamlessly. I had to adjust my network settings a bit, but it was worth the effort.
