I sold off all my Google nest cameras and ended my yearly subscription which was getting absurdly high and opted to go with the aqara suite and Homekit.
I’m sure there’s others just like me for those who have done it already any regrets?
I’m really hoping Apple make a HomePod with a screen so I can monitor all the cameras and sell my nest hubs too

I have been using Apple Home since beginning my smart home, my only complaint is the 1080p resolution provided by Apples HKSV.

It has been rumored for some time that they are going to release a HomePod with a screen, but for now… but if you have an Apple TV you can also see the cameras on it, even if you skip a notification by movement or recording, you can also see it on the Apple TV. The bad thing is that you can’t access the recordings from it, but you can access the live view. It’s quite comfortable.

I also recently ended my nest subscription. The price kept going up and features kept getting removed. The cameras also kept increasingly missing events… it’s like they update to make things worst so you buy the new shiny equipment and pay increasingly higher subscription fees. Good bye google.

I’ve paid for Nest and a couple other brands for monthly subscription and I don’t miss it a single day. HomeKit is more than capable. Only “issue” is the resolution at 1080p but I’ll live as long as I don’t pay for a subscription.

Not having to pay absurd subscription prices is nice. You can get away with buy the $5 / month for iCloud for a much more reasonable price.

La investigación de Aqara con HomeKit es de las mejores del mercado, para los usuarios del ecosistema de Apple es una de las mejores opciones calidad/precio.

Welcome to a private platform, where your data is protected, you don’t have to pay for ridiculous fees, and most of all it works simply and reliably.
