Hello,
I’d like to display the temperature and humidity of a Matter outdoor sensor paired with my M3 bridge. I would like to display it on the secondary display part of my Aqara W100 sensor.
Could you consider this use case for a future firmware version of the Hub or W100?

@ludovic_boue Hello!
Your interest in displaying the temperature and humidity data from a Matter outdoor sensor on the secondary display of your Aqara W100 is intriguing! Currently, the Aqara Climate Sensor W100 can show data from a linked temperature and humidity sensor when connected to an Aqara hub via the Zigbee protocol. If no sensor is linked, it displays local weather information from online sources.
However, your specific use case of integrating a Matter outdoor sensor isn’t directly supported at this time. It’s a fantastic idea, and I would recommend sharing this feedback with Aqara’s development team to consider for future firmware updates. This kind of community-driven innovation can significantly enhance user experience!
Thank you for sharing your suggestion, and feel free to keep the ideas coming. They’re invaluable for the ongoing improvement of smart home systems.

@ludovic_boue Hello! Thanks for sharing your use case. Currently, the reference information indicates that the Secondary Area on the Aqara Climate Sensor W100’s screen displays data from an additional Aqara temperature and humidity sensor (such as Aqara Temperature and Humidity Sensor, T1, or TVOC Air Quality Monitor) when linked via Zigbee, or local weather information if no sensor is connected . There’s no mention of supporting Matter outdoor sensors for this feature in the available details.
If you have suggestions for improvement, we recommend submitting feedback through the Aqara Home App (Profile>Help&Feedback>Customer Service) or scanning the QR code:
