Hi, is it possible to create location based automations in aqara home? I can’t find it
@mateusz7 Hello! Yes, you can create location-based automations in the Aqara Home app. This is often referred to as geofencing automation. However, please note that such automation can only be triggered for the mobile phone that sets up the automation. It uses the geographic location reported by the current mobile phone system based on its IP.
To set up this automation, you can navigate to the app and follow these steps: go to Automation > IF > Reach/Leave a location > Alert System > Arm/Disarm automatically. Please remember that if you want another mobile phone to trigger the same automation, you would need to set it up separately on that device.
I hope this helps! Feel free to share any more questions or insights you have as you explore Aqara Home.
@mateusz7 Yes, it is possible to create location-based automations in the Aqara Home app. For example, you can set the camera’s privacy protection mode to turn on when you arrive home and turn off when you leave home based on location service . If you’re having trouble finding the setup, you can check the “Automation” section in the app and look for location-related triggers. Feel free to share if you need further clarification or have more questions!
