Yes. You can add this lock in the Aqara app, pair it with the M3 and then use ecosystem integration in the app to expose it to both Apple Home and Alexa.

Yes, Apple Key should automatically start working as soon as the lock is added to Apole Home.
Your iPhone will prompt you to configure the Home Key right away.
Later you can reconfigure your Home Key in Apple Home by clicking three dots → Home Settings → Locks

I just tried it, but when you do it, it add it as a bridge and the only thing I saw was M3 was a security device, and the lock did not come through

Hmm, that’s interesting. Do you maybe have a HomeKit/Matter integration option when you open the U50 in the Aqara app, then click three dots? Maybe you have to also click “Connect” in the lock settings?

Yes, you can. But if you add your hub twice to Apple Home (using both HomeKit and Matter integration, because Apple Home supports both) then you will have duplicate devices.
But you can use Matter integration for your lock, and HomeKit for your hub (or the other way). It’s 100% supported
OK, I’m just trying to figure out the best way to make it work so that I could have Home key and still use matter with the other devices
