Lyra Lamp and Smart Plug Experience

Hi everyone! I’m new to the world of smart home devices and I’m absolutely thrilled with my recent purchases. I’ve been eyeing the Lyra Lamp for a while now, and I finally decided to take the plunge. The moment I set it up, I was blown away by how seamlessly it integrated with my existing smart home setup. The color transitions are smooth, and the brightness levels are perfect for creating different moods in my living room.

However, I also picked up a set of smart plugs to control my space heaters, and I’m a bit concerned about their performance. I’ve heard that some devices might struggle with high wattage appliances, but I’m not entirely sure how to verify this. I’d love to hear if anyone else has experience using smart plugs with heaters and if they encountered any issues.

On another note, I stumbled upon a post about consolidating notifications, and I couldn’t agree more. I often find myself swiping through dozens of notifications on my phone, and it would be fantastic if there was a way to group them by device or type. Does anyone know of a workaround or a feature request that’s been made for this?

Lastly, I’m curious to know if others have tried using the Nedis zigbee remote control as a simple button for automations. I’ve been struggling with getting it to trigger specific actions without it defaulting to its alarm functionality. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!

I’m really enjoying the journey of building my smart home, and I’m excited to learn more from the community. Thanks for reading, and I look forward to your insights!
