M100 adaptive channel change, and WiFi 2.4ghz

I am wondering if the M100 will change channel (along with its devices) if it discovers that there is overlap? And if so, can it also see overlap of 2.4ghz WiFi channels?

@lj_aqara The query you’ve raised about the Aqara Hub M100’s ability to adaptively change channels in case of overlap and its capability to detect 2.4GHz Wi-Fi channel overlaps is quite interesting. However, based on the current reference information available, there are no specific details on whether the Hub M100 can autonomously change channels to avoid overlap or detect overlaps specifically in the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi spectrum.

The Hub M100 supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi 6, which generally offers better performance and can handle multiple connections efficiently. Yet, this doesn’t explicitly confirm channel adaptability features. For precise details, you might want to consult the official Aqara documentation or engage with the community for firsthand experiences.

I appreciate your curiosity, and I encourage further discussion within the community to explore this topic. If you have more insights or questions, feel free to share!

@lj_aqara Hi there! Thanks for your question. After checking the available reference information, we don’t have details on whether the Hub M100 can automatically change channels (along with its connected devices) when detecting channel overlap, or if it can detect overlap on 2.4GHz WiFi channels.

If you have any personal experiences or further insights to share about this, the community would love to hear from you!
