Added a 2nd M100 Hub; it is attached to WiFi and Homekit. Now every time I try to add a child device using the Aqara App, the M100 immediately changes from solid blue light to a blinking red light, and no chiuld device is ever added. Firmware is up to date. Any idea what is happening ?
Good morning, I’ve reviewed the M100 manual and don’t see any documented indicator lights for a red blinking light.

Any chance it is blinking purple and not red? Blinking purple is the correct state for adding a child device.

Can you confirm you are selecting the new M100 hub in the app and not the existing one? With two M100s on the same Aqara account, when adding a child device the app asks you to select which hub to pair through. If you triggering the wrong hub, or if the child device is already paired to hub 1 and you’re trying to add it to hub 2 without factory resetting the child device first, pairing will fail.

Probably worth resetting the child device and the new hub and starting fresh.
Hope some of these suggestions help.
Hi @ssc4me , the indicator light isn’t red, but purple, and that means the hub is searching for Zigbee devices. What device are you trying to add to the hub? Is it an Aqara Zigbee device?
And where are you bought the hub and the child devices?
Purchased in the USA, and I am trying to add a zigbee Water Sensor and a Zigbee Foor and Window Sensor.
Also, both HomeKit and Aqara now indicate the presence of both W100 Hubs, and the both child devices can be added to any of my other Hubs, including the “older” W100 Hub.
Just a guess: Try swapping out the power supply to see if that helps.
Otherwise: Have you performed a factory reset?
