I try to connect recently purchased hub M200 through wifi. It says binding is not available for my region. Everyone had/has the same issue? I bought it as “global version” on aliexpress.
I tried different regions, even “mainland china”, still not binding, at the end Aqara just locked my device on their servers, now totally useless…
Hi there.did you try a factory reset?press 10 times in a row the button on the hub wait a min or 2 and then try again also make sure you phone is in the same network.

When you buy from unauthorized retailers, it usually fine, but then you won’t get the support you need from Aqara.
I did factory reset too before writing to this forum, it helped nothing. At least aqara support answered and removed locking from my device but still cannot connect to their cloud because “region” is not what thry want…useless device, wondering for what they want all wifi passwords, intetnet access, delays with cloud connection if i only want to manage lights switch on/off by their 60GHz sensor…
Can you show us a pic of the package? Wondering if AliExpress really sold a global version- not just a China version
