M3 Hub IR blasting abilities/limits

Does anyone know If the hub’s IR blasting works at all with not having line of sight? I have the hub in a cubby below my tv and would like to pair the IR blaster with the TV remote so I can automate the ability to turn the TV on and off. The IR would blast the signal and bounce off a wall and then come back to the TV. I just am not sure if this would work. I think it would as pretty much any remote can bounce around but wanted to check before I attempt.

In my experience it’s really powerful, and the IR signal can be reflected by light or reflective surfaces like white walls or mirrors. I once put it in an adjacent room and it still worked (like 60% of the times, but it worked) only through an open door and it was not even a straight line of sight.

I can’t guarantee it will work in your case, but the IR blaster is much much more powerful that mg Aqara G3 Hub (which has a straight line of sight to my blu ray player, but because it’s on a bottom shelf of my TV stand, it works only 50% of the time, but the M3 can reach it without problem without a straight line)
