Hello everyone.
After the latest firmware update for the Aqara Hub M3, automations and scenes no longer respond as they did in the previous version. There are delays, missed notifications, and automatic activations.
Everything is supposed to work locally, fine. But if it doesn’t work for your needs, what’s the point?
I’m experiencing an issue after the latest firmware update of my Aqara Hub M3. Basically, not all the notifications created in automations arrive on my phone.
For example, I have two automations: one that notifies me when the door opens and one when it closes. However, sometimes I only receive the notification when the door is closed, or only when it is opened.
That appears too with other automation.
Also, scenes and automation are not responding to the select trigger or are not working completely.
Has anyone else experienced the same issue?
Thanks.

Hello, I confirm. I also sometimes (not often) have some problems, I can’t connect them to anything. I often (due to the war) have the lights turned off (repeater switches off), although I suspect a problem with the app application.
By the way, @gtxteo, update your app android, I deleted version 6.0.9 and my android pulled up version 6.1. Now I’m investigating its behavior.
Hello, I don’t know. The program didn’t work well for me. I deleted the app, rebooted the phone and started adding the app from the store again. I got a new version. I don’t know if it was a coincidence or if I just got access. But when the program was 9.0.9, it didn’t show me that it could be updated.
Hello, I think you are right, something is broken in your narrowly focused. Here are my push notifications that regularly come to me. Please note that these notifications come from a sensor that is connected directly to the gateway and are organized by automation (not with the help of a security system)
Scenes are instant in the Aqara app. Also. changing T1 bulb colours works perfectly in both the Aqara app and Apple Home. However, colour scenes are the only ones affected in Apple Home.
When triggering these scenes using a Wireless Mini Switch T1, they are acknowledged instantly in the Apple Home app (the buttons turn grey immediately), but the actual action is delayed or doesn’t happen.
Very strange behaviour.
This issue only started recently !
I’m also having problems, in addition also after the firmware update of the motion sensors that I have (in mesh) with a T2 relay that is halfway from the M3 hub and the motion sensors, I’ve been disconnections for a year and after the update they disconnect I don’t know if there is any problem with the zigbee mesh network that now doesn’t work or I don’t know what the problem is.
I have a similar thread open for the G3 Camera Hub, automations and scenes just randomly do not work after the latest firmware update. Something has happened in the firmware in relation to automations that seems to be affecting multiple hub devices.
Another very strange and abnormal behaviour I have observed today morning when there was an electricity outage in my apartment.
Short intro:
No electricity for 2-3 minutes, everything restarted (all aqara devices up and running), except my router, so there was no internet connection. After opening the door with U200 with keypad (Aqara M3 was armed in Away mode), alarm was triggered, then it was manually disarmed with a hidden switch. Router has been brought to live and internet connection started working again.
Observation:
In the application, there are completely NO LOGS (for particular sensors, M3 hub, door lock)
NO LOGS for automations, which run locally also!
No info about the alarm that was trigerred!!
The only notification came from HomeKit about the alarm…
Hello, after the power outage, your internet connection in the house disappears. If there is no connection with the server, the event log does not record information, although at this time the gateway performs automation LOCALLY. Also, do not forget that it takes some time to re-bind the gateway->Zigbee. My recommendations - for stable operation of the smart home, you need to ensure uninterrupted power supply to the gateway.
