Managing codes from Home Assistant

It is possible to manage the codes in the lock from Home Assitant. I have the U200 plugged through the M3 Hub.l

@lpmorin It looks like you’re interested in managing codes for your Aqara Smart Door Lock U200 through Home Assistant. While the reference information doesn’t specifically mention code management through Home Assistant, it does indicate that all Aqara products supporting HomeKit can be integrated with Home Assistant using the HomeKit Controller integration. Here’s a quick rundown of the steps to connect your U200 lock to Home Assistant:

  1. Prepare the HomeKit Device: Ensure your U200 is reset and not currently paired with another HomeKit controller. Connect it to your local network.
  2. Add the HomeKit Controller Integration: In Home Assistant, navigate to Settings > Devices & Services. Click on “Add Integration” and select HomeKit Controller.
  3. Pair the Device: Home Assistant will discover available HomeKit devices on your network. Select your U200 lock and enter the pairing code when prompted.
  4. Finalize Integration: Once paired, your U200 lock will be available in Home Assistant for control and automation.

While these steps will connect your lock to Home Assistant, managing codes directly via Home Assistant might not be fully supported. You may want to explore the Aqara Home app for more detailed settings and functionalities. If anyone in the community has experience with this specific setup, their insights would be valuable!

Hi , We recommend setting a password and frigerprint on the keypad.
After connecting to HA, you can long press the confirmation key on the keypad to enter the local settings menu.

The point is that i’d like to be able to add codes remotely so that I can give access to a new guest without having to be present.
