My FP300 lose Matter pair code. How can I recovery it.

The FP300 should have a code printed in the box and one on the product. If you lost both of those, may I ask, do you have it paired to any matter ecosystem currently? If so, you can use the the multi-admin pairing to generate a new code, but this doesn’t replace the original code.
Unfortunately if you do not have it paired and lost all copies of the code, you may be out of luck. I really hope you can find it!
I recommend to keep backups of your codes. There are apps like HomePass for HomeKit and Matter that make this easy, or you can always take pictures and save them in a document.

Is it possible for Aqara Support to use a device’s serial number to recreate the Matter pairing code?

So I lost the pairing code to my G4 doorbell. I do still have the boxes, but there are no codes on the boxes. They’re just serial numbers any other options to find the pairing code? I literally bought this months ago. It was in my cabinet someone must’ve thrown it away.

You should be able to find a code for HomeKit, but you won’t find one for Matter, since Matter isn’t supported by the G4.

I usually take that sticker off and place it on the box as I keep some of the boxes but I also did an photo to it and store it on my iMac making an folder with Matter/thread cods so this way you will never lost them.now I think you can contact aqara support and send them the details and serial of the device as for sure they have the matter/thread code stored on their data base for each device and serial number.

I don’t think it is imposible aqara have to store each matter/thread for each seria number because this could be a bummer that an company that sell matter/thread devices to can’t give their buyers an copy of that code in case it is lost by the buyer like in this case.for example meross have implemented that on their own app so if you loose that code you can recover it from Meross app directly.but I think also aqara have something like that on their own app if that sensor it is already paired there.if he can pair it then con to ecosystem and chose thread I think aqara app gives you the thread code there directly or I am wrong?the photo is taken from my M3 hub just as an example

Im struggling with matter pairing codes from time to time as well and started to use apps for documenting the pairing codes. For iOS there’s „HomePass“ for example. This doesn’t help for the already lost pairing code in your case but might help in the future

It looks like you’re right. It seems possible, since I just found an older forum post where Nicholas.Aqara from the Aqara team writes the following:
At least it works with the HomeKit code, though. It stands to reason that the same applies to Matter codes.

Well then you are good to go and this time my be make an list or store the code of your devices with name of the devices and matter code so in the future you know witch device is and the respective code to not have such issues.it is an pain when this happens even when I had to errase all my HomeKit devices and start again as new, what an pain adding all the device again

Okay, that’s good news for @BacchusHaarlem, since the HomeKit code can at least be restored. I was guessing that the same probably applies to the Matter code, but if you say it doesn’t work, then I suppose it doesn’t.

Well if nothing works he can always ask aqara support for the code by providing the serial number of the device or what ever aqara will ask to know for witch device he needs it
Yeah, it’s also odd that they don’t have it listed online for consumers with videos, warranty, codes etc.
Well they can’t list all the codes online duo to privacy my be. but they need to have each code into their data base stored for each device/serial number also you do realize that is not aqara fault that you lost that code right?
