I have an aqara M3 hub, using Mattre I connected this hub to Google Home, the connection is successful but all devices are offline. Any ideas on how to fix it?
@dominik.prucha It sounds like you’re encountering a common issue with devices showing offline in Google Home after connecting your Aqara Hub M3 using Matter. Here are some steps you can consider to resolve this issue:
-
Check Firmware and App Updates: Ensure that both your Aqara Hub M3 and the Aqara Home app are updated to the latest versions. This can often resolve connectivity issues.
-
Network Compatibility: Verify that your WiFi router supports IPv6, as it’s required for Matter devices. Ensure all your devices, including the Aqara Hub M3 and your phone, are connected to the same local network.
-
Restart Devices: Try restarting the Aqara Hub M3 and your router. This can help re-establish connections and improve network stability.
-
Proximity and Signal Strength: Make sure the hub and devices are placed within a reasonable distance from the router to ensure strong signal strength.
-
Matter Protocol Requirements: The Matter protocol has higher stability and network requirements. If issues persist, try multiple connection attempts and keep the devices as close to each other as possible during the setup process.
If these steps don’t help, consider reaching out to Aqara support for further assistance. You’re also welcome to share your experiences or seek advice from the community here.
