Assuming the T1 did well, I wonder if there will be a version that will support Matter over Thread. TBH, I don’t really care for individually addressable LEDs or even colour, but the available options for Matter over Thread lightstrips are depressingly limited. I wish Aqara could fill that void soon.

That phoscon device looks great. Does anyone know if aqara shows colour/temp control for these sort of led devices connected over matter/thread?

I should have been more specific.
Ive read negative reviews about the capability for the aqara screen devices (S1 plus, S100 etc) to offer on-screen control of matter devices.
I basically don’t assume anything anymore, so would need a very strong confirmation.

I can confirm this for my LED strip with Matter over WiFi and also for my light bubbles with Matter over Thread in the Aqara Home App.
This should be the case for all Matter-compatible devices. It took several attempts to set up the devices via Thread. Simply repeat the process until it works.
It may be different with Aqara screen devices, though. Unfortunately, I don’t have one here. Sorry.
