I recently had the pleasure of integrating the Anona Holo WiFi Smart Lock into my smart home setup, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer! As someone who’s always on the lookout for seamless and reliable smart home devices, the support for Matter over WiFi truly impressed me. The setup process was straightforward, and the lock’s integration with my existing ecosystem has been smooth sailing.
One feature that stands out is the auto-lock functionality, which adds an extra layer of security without any hassle. The keypad is a nice touch too, especially with its IP65 waterproof rating, making it perfect for both indoor and outdoor use. I also appreciate the anti-peeping feature, which adds a fun and practical element to the lock’s security.
Battery life has been exceptional, lasting up to eight months in low-power mode. While the keypad is only available in Obsidian Grey, it complements my home’s aesthetic beautifully. The Bluetooth v5.3 connectivity ensures a stable connection between the keypad and the lock, and the ability to set temporary access codes is a huge plus for when guests come over.
That said, I did encounter a minor hiccup where the lock occasionally showed a red ring and failed to respond. Restarting the device resolved the issue, and I haven’t faced any problems since. Overall, the Anona Holo has exceeded my expectations, and I’m excited to see how Matter technology continues to evolve in the smart home space.
