Hey everyone! I’ve been working on improving my camera’s motion detection, especially after noticing it wasn’t capturing some movements, like when my dog tries to escape the yard. I thought I’d share what I’ve learned so far and maybe get some tips from the community.
First off, I tried adjusting the sensitivity settings. It turns out, sometimes the default isn’t enough. I also moved the camera slightly to get a better angle. These small tweaks have already made a difference!
Another thing I’ve been thinking about is integrating motion detection with other smart devices. Maybe setting up an automation where the lights turn on if motion is detected outside, but only during certain hours. I’d love to hear how others have set this up!
