Hey everyone! I’ve been using the Neato D7 for over two years now, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my smart home setup. One feature I particularly love is the ability to set up zone cleaning with no-go lines. It’s incredibly handy for keeping certain areas of my home clean without worrying about the robot venturing into restricted zones.
However, I’ve noticed that the Homey app doesn’t fully utilize this feature. Currently, the app only offers basic cleaning options, which aren’t as practical as the zone-specific cleaning in the Neato app. I’d love to see the Homey app integrate zone cleaning as a flow card, allowing users to specify zones either from a list or via variables. This would make automating cleaning tasks much more efficient!
For instance, I’d love to trigger zone cleaning when my home security system is armed, ensuring the house stays tidy even when I’m away. This feature would not only enhance the usability of the Neato app but also make the robot a more integral part of a connected home.
