I’m hoping someone can help me with a strange issue I’ve been having. Since updating my M3 HUB to version 4.3.8.0021, all my T2 relays are showing bizarre power consumption values.
For example, I have a single 400 W motor connected to one T2 relay, and the app is now reporting its daily consumption as around 1 MW. I’ve checked multiple T2 relays, and they all seem to have the same problem, so I don’t think it’s a faulty device.
Has anyone else experienced this? Could it be a bug in the new HUB firmware? Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
@JardaS Thank you for sharing your experience—this definitely sounds frustrating, especially when everything was working well before the update. While there isn’t a direct reference about this specific power consumption reporting issue after a firmware upgrade, I can offer some general guidance based on related information.
First, it’s always a good idea to make sure both your M3 Hub and the Aqara Home app are updated to their latest versions, as sometimes subsequent patches address these kinds of anomalies. You might also try restarting both the Hub and your T2 relays to see if that recalibrates the readings.
Additionally, double-check that your network connections are stable and that all devices are on the same local area network, as communication errors can sometimes cause odd reporting behaviors.
Since this issue appeared right after the firmware update and affects multiple T2 relays, it does sound like a potential bug rather than a hardware problem. If the problem persists after trying the basic troubleshooting steps, I recommend reaching out to Aqara’s Customer Service Team via the Aqara Home App (Profile > Help & Feedback > Customer Service), or by scanning the QR code below for efficient assistance:

Meanwhile, I’d love to hear if anyone else in the community has encountered this after the latest update—let’s see if we can identify a pattern or workaround together!
I open support tiket, let see what they found out. What is interesting that weekly report of house showing correct values of electricity consumtpion. I have last SW on all devices and unfortuantelly restart of all devices aslo did not resolve the issue. Anybody else is facing same issue? Let me know please.
Hello, unfortunatelly nothing change waiting for new SW version if something will be fixed. Now on application level 400W engine showing in app only 1W. WTF
I faced with the same problem. I have a 40W fan that is connected to Aqara T2 relay. Aqara app shows it consumed 22 kWh for 1 hour work. But even theoretically it can consume maximum 10A * 230V * 1h = 2,3 kWh.
