Hey everyone, I wanted to share my experience with the Mh-z19b sensor calibration. I recently set up my sensor and connected it to my ESP, and while it seems to be working, the values it’s showing are a bit off. I suspect this is due to the sensor not being properly calibrated.
I have a few questions about the calibration process:
- Will the sensor retain its calibration settings after a power outage? I plan to place it outside, trigger the calibration, and then bring it back inside.
- Does it automatically recalibrate every 24 hours? The documentation mentions it takes the lowest value from the previous 24 hours, but what if the lowest value is higher than expected, like 800ppm instead of 400ppm?
I found a workaround where I can manually set the base value, but I’m still not entirely sure how the recalibration process works. If anyone has experience with this or can provide some clarification, I’d greatly appreciate it!
