I’ve been using VeraLite for my Z-Wave setup for years, but now I’m transitioning to Home Assistant (HA) with a Z-Stick Gen 5. I used Vera integration initially, but since VeraLite is no longer supported, I want to fully switch over. The Z-Stick is on its way, and I’m curious if there’s an easier migration method than excluding all devices from Vera and including them with the stick. I’ve heard about making the stick a secondary controller in Vera and then promoting it to primary, but I’m not sure how that works within HA. I’m also wondering if I can set this up during the initial HA setup. Has anyone successfully done this before? Any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
