As someone who has been using Home Assistant for a while, I recently decided to switch from Docker to Home Assistant OS. The process was smooth, but I encountered a challenge with my Zigbee devices. After some research, I found a way to migrate my ZHA configuration without re-pairing all 70 devices! It’s a relief to have them back up and running seamlessly.
Another topic I’d love to discuss is the integration of different smart devices, especially cameras and sensors. I’ve been experimenting with smaller, battery-powered cameras for wildlife monitoring, and while they’re fantastic, I wish there were more options for customization. If anyone has tips on optimizing battery life or adjusting camera settings for better performance, I’d love to hear them!
Lastly, I’m curious about others’ experiences with motion sensors, particularly the Hue Motion Sensor. Have you noticed any quirks or issues with false detections? I’d appreciate any troubleshooting advice or best practices for ensuring reliable performance.
