I’ve been trying to set up a smart lighting system where my outdoor lamps turn on when motion is detected, but only after the sun has set. It’s been a bit of a challenge, but I think I’ve got it figured out! Here’s what I’ve learned:

Here’s what I discovered: I needed to combine two conditions—motion detection and sunset timing. I set up a flow where the lamp activates only when both conditions are met. Now, it works perfectly! The lights stay off during the day and only turn on when motion is detected after the sun has set.
One thing I learned is to double-check your time zones and location settings. Even a small error there can throw off the entire system. Also, make sure your motion sensor is positioned correctly to avoid false triggers from things like passing cars or pets.
