Hello,
I’m looking for motorized curtains that can be controlled by a home assistant. Does Aqara offer this type of product (ideally Mater) and does anyone have any feedback on this topic to share?

I don’t know about curtains but the IKEA blinds have been pretty solid. A little hard to find though.

My curtains are motorized. Im useing an aqara device (Aqara Roller Shade Driver E1) for the blinds. The blinds are fabric roman shades.
For the rest of my curtains (fabric on a simple curtain rail) im using another product but its not from aqara.

Been using switch bot for about 4 years and they are awesome. Can be controlled in HA and they have several options depending on the curtains or curtain rod you use.

I use motorized blinds by Lutron. They’re pricey if you include installation, and require their own hub. The integration with HomeKit and Home Assistant is super easy.

+1 for Switchbot, I had a track that the Aqara curtain driver wouldn’t fit but the Switchbot worked great with the myriad of adapters included in the box.

I love the aqura FP2 but want to hang it from my ceiling. How can you do this without unsightly wires?

Sonoff curtain motor because i dont have motorized rails. Integration is Zigbee via HA
And for the roman blindes i have the aqara motor

I have the FP2 mounted above my doorframes so i can hide the wire along the frame. If you want it at your ceiling maybe you need a powerbank (dont know if it will last long) or suspended ceiling.

Can you add the switch bot with matter directly to the M3 hub?

I haven’t tried using Matter but in theory, yes it should work. Mine is just connected through bluetooth
