Hey everyone! I’ve been exploring the Govee Studio app and its music modes, and I wanted to share a fun idea that’s been on my mind. Years ago, I had a cool project where I used a sound-to-light converter to control Christmas lights. It was a simple Radio Shack kit that filtered music into low, mid, and high frequencies, each controlling a string of lights. It was mesmerizing to watch the lights dance to the music!
Now, thinking about the RGBIC light strips, I wonder if it would be possible to add a similar feature to the Govee Studio app. Imagine being able to create a multi-channel effect where each channel responds to different frequency ranges, with adjustable gain controls. It could add a whole new layer of interactivity to home entertainment setups!
I’d love to hear if others have experimented with similar ideas or if this might be something the team could consider for future updates. It would be a fantastic way to enhance the app’s creative potential and bring some nostalgic fun to modern smart lighting systems.
