First off I should point out these are through home assistant, every room has a std aqara motion, door and window sensors, except the kitchen and living room which are run by fp2.
1st and my most simplist one is the blinds go down auto at sunset, the not so simple is the going up after sunrise with various conditions for each room.
second, which I like a lot because I live in a dark street (street lights go off at certian time). if numberplater reconiser sees my car reg pull on to the drive (which is its own zone via frigate) and no motion has been detected in the house then the driveway light turns on, then when I open the street door the porch and living room lights come on.
Third automation is another simple one on stairs, you trip the sensor at the bottom and the light strip in the skirting chases up the stairs to become solid, then reversed down.
Forth is auto lights wind down, from 8 pm any light turned on or on will only be at 65% and over the next 30 mins will transition to 60% and then so on until it reaches 11pm. this does trick the brain to be tired.
the 5th one is simplistic when down stairs tv is turned off and time is past 10:30pm, turn on the bed cob strip and turn of the hue sync box, check all window sensors are closed and yale door lock is closed. if not flash under counter lights in kitchen red.
6th if door or window sensors are opened when alarm is on sound the alarm and flash all compatible lights red, speakers full volume stating pictures taken and police have been phoned.
if shed door gets opened and no one is home sound alarm.
7th, I used a template to give a sensor that gives me wather were ever a device tracker is. (example: car, phones, parents house etc)
8 kitchen under counter lights only turn on depending on what side your on (using fp2) if you go in there and start chopping under the work top a vibration sensor is stuck this detects the chopping and turns up the brightness of that strip to 100%.
9 wall tablet (android 10") shows custom dashboard and will auto dim down at night, its also connected via a light switch behind with a zigbee in wall switch, which when tablet is at 20% turns power back to the tablet, then when tablet is 80% turns power off to the tablet.
10 my son has a dum infa red controlled moon, this moon makes you press a button to get the desired moon phaze so I counted each press, then used a aqara opple in his room, when he presses the button it checks the moon phaze outside and then presses the button via ir blaster how ever many times it need to to get to the correct moon phaze outside.
ill add more soon this is only about 10 of 40 to 50ā¦
