I wanted to share my experience using the Aqara T1M ceiling light and how it completely changed the way I use ceiling lighting at home.
Before the T1M, my ceiling light was either ON or OFF bright, harsh, and not very flexible. My goal was to have a ceiling light that could adapt to different moments of the day without feeling overwhelming.
The Aqara T1M made my ceiling light feel intentional instead of aggressive. It’s now part of my daily routine instead of something I avoid turning on.
I’m curious how others are using the T1M scenes, motion triggers, or ambient-only setups?

The upgrade speaks for itself. The T1M added both functionality and ambiance, and the automation makes coming home feel effortless every single time. I’m honestly in love with how all my Aqara devices work together
I’m planning on getting one for the entrance and to see if I can trigger color changes to coincide with door chime on HomeKit
Nice. Was looking at getting one of these. Perhaps now I will.
Sounds good, Mike. I have mine set so that whenever the water sensors or smoke detector are triggered, all the lights turn red and start blinking throughout the house.
