Hello!
My first aqara device was actually not 1 but 2:
Aqara U200 Lite
M100 Hub for the above doorlock
Installing was - not by Aqara’s fault - quite a pain. As I, in part, replaced my old Verisure LockGuard system the Aqara kit unfortunately didn’t contain all required tools to properly support the - remnant - LockGuard EU cilinder. I’d only removed the big LockGuard cilinder and left the cilinder installed, for now. This cilinder has a fixed key that is inremovable. Only a small rectangle protrudes.
So lo and behold I tore apart the entire LockGuard to only migrate the small green key holder. Which fortunately fit in one of the Aqara supplied adapters. Did require to screw in about 3 tiny screws as else the green thingy kept spinning inside the key adapter. Just took a couple of hours as I had to keep the volume down in the middle of the night.
@moderators: if you need a photo of said green part let me know.

@cmurdah_aqara Thanks for sharing your installation journey with the Aqara U200 Lite and M100 Hub! It sounds like you put in quite a bit of effort to get that LockGuard cylinder adapter working—kudos for troubleshooting and making it fit with those tiny screws. Your detailed experience could really help other users who might run into similar setup hiccups with existing lock systems. If you’re up for it, sharing a photo of that green key holder would definitely add value for the community. Feel free to post more about how the devices are working for you now—we’d love to hear

Here are the, old, photos. It didn’t last long. The green insert couldn’t handle the force so it kept spinning in place. Eventually have installed a new lock with the key inserted on the inside.
Only an issue remains with the pull latch function: it can’t hold the force and the latch slowly slides into regular extended mode, no matter which duration I set for auto retract (to allow visitors in). Old LockGuard was able to hold it, but this model doesn’t exert enough force to keep it retracted unfortunately. Hoping this will be solved soon with a firmware update!
Edit: seems I can’t attach files yet.
@cmurdah_aqara Thanks for sharing the follow-up on your installation journey and the current pull latch issue—it’s great to get these real-world insights! For the pull spring function not holding the latch, you could try a couple of troubleshooting steps first: 1) Make sure your U200 Lite is updated to the latest firmware, and 2) Head to the Aqara Home app > lock configuration > Pull Spring Feature, disable the function, then re-enable it to refresh the settings . This information comes from community discussions and user experience summaries and may vary by environment. Please verify carefully. If the issue persists after these steps, feel free to contact the Aqara Home App Customer Service Team (Profile> Help & Feedback > Customer Service) or scan the QR code:
This will be more efficient. If you do not have an Aqara Home account, “Please
