I installed the FP400, my first ever presence sensor. I initially installed it to my M3 hub using Thread. Setup was straightforward and easy but I found functionality lacking, so I reinstalled it to my M3 hub using Zigbee. This install was also easy and fast. No problems or issues with the installs. My install was in our family room. I set up a couple of zones (as a nubi managing it was challenging) with table lamps attached by smart plugs. The FP400 successfully recognized people and movement/lack of movement in the zones and ignored my dog. I was also able to set the room lighting based on the Illuminance Sensor settings. Very cool device and it works quickly. The FP400 appears to be another piece of great tech. I look forward to exploring and expanding its use as I learn more about its capabilities. This was both challenging, fun and I am enjoying making our dumb home smart. Aqara hits it out of the park again with affordable quality devices.
