My g5 pro camera stopped detecting

One of My g5 pro camera’s stopped detecting. It worked fine till few days ago. The camera is on privacy mode during the day and works from 23;00 till 7:00 but no video’s are available while my other camera has lots of footage while aimed at the same streer

Since the latest firmware update 4.5.20_0004.0017 my G5 Pro does not recognise faces…so i cannot enter my house using face detection (unlocking U200)

Is there anybody out there who can confirm that issue?

It works for me.

But with the update, there are some new settings.
Under “AI Detection,” I have the following settings for “Face Detection”:

The default value for “Detection Time Interval” was particularly problematic for me. That’s why I set the value to 15 seconds.

Try setting “Detection Sensitivity” to “High”.

If that doesn’t help, click the “Restart the device” button. I think that button is new, too. Restarting sometimes works wonders.

Do you really have the same firmware version installed? And tell me please, which app version do you have installed?

Everything works fine for me.
Just to be clear, which part isn’t working for you?

  • Your automations/signals with face recognition?
    • Please make a Screenshot
  • Or that the videos are not being recorded?
    • Is Cloud Event Video turned on or off? → Turn it on
  • Do you have an active subscription or not? → No → videos stored locally and older videos are deleted
    • Are so many other videos being created that the videos with facial recognition are being deleted?

The face detection isn’t working at all. While the person detection is functioning correctly, this issue has persisted since the latest firmware update.

Hello, everything works! Insert a period of 3 minutes, for some reason it stopped working after a shorter time. I will make a request to explain the situation.

Note, once a shorter time (15s) required a subscription and was grayed out (inactive)

Do you mean the “Detection Time Interval”? Well, I can set 15 seconds on my G5 Pro WiFi and G5 Pro PoE without a subscription.

Hi, everything works. It’s winter now, so I added an additional photo of Santa Claus (just kidding, my photo) :rofl:

@gafich10 I finally deleted my post because I still have the problem. It seems to be a firmware issue. I am wondering that you are not having the same issue. I sent an email to Aqara support. We will see what happens.
