Hey everyone! I wanted to share a fun project I recently worked on for Hanukkah. I’ve been experimenting with my Govee smart lights and decided to create a festive lighting setup for the holiday season. It’s been a fantastic way to get into the spirit of the season while showcasing the capabilities of smart home technology.
I started by selecting a few key areas in my home where I wanted to highlight the lighting. The living room and the entryway were my main focuses. I used a combination of color-changing strips and individual bulbs to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. One of the challenges was ensuring the lights would work seamlessly with my existing setup, but with a bit of trial and error, I managed to integrate everything smoothly.
I also experimented with creating different lighting scenes for various occasions. For example, I set up a warm, golden glow for when we gather as a family and a more vibrant, colorful display for entertaining guests. It’s been wonderful to see how these small touches have brightened up our holiday celebrations.
