Hello everyone, I wanted to share my experience with setting up Home Assistant using Docker on an Intel NUC. I recently built my system following some online guides, and it’s been a fascinating journey. Initially, I faced an issue where Ubuntu wasn’t recognized as a supported OS by Home Assistant, which was a bit concerning. But after some research, I discovered that reinstalling the server with Debian 10 and Docker was the solution. I decided to create a full backup of my Home Assistant setup before proceeding to ensure everything would go smoothly. The process was a bit nerve-wracking, but it paid off. Now, my system is running like a charm, and I’m really impressed with how Docker simplifies the management of Home Assistant. I thought I’d share this in case anyone else is considering a similar setup. It’s been a great learning experience, and I’m excited to continue exploring all the possibilities Home Assistant offers. ![]()
