I recently installed a Polisy at my son’s home, and I must say, it’s been a game-changer! My son has specific needs for controlling his lights on certain days and times, but he’s not very tech-savvy. After some initial setup hurdles, everything is running smoothly now. I used the Google Holidays Nodeserver, which made it incredibly easy for him to manage his lights by simply adding events to his calendar. The Polisy’s integration with this nodeserver was seamless, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. I had to troubleshoot a few things, like resetting his modem and ensuring the Polisy was added to DHCP, but once that was sorted, the setup was a breeze. My son now has his lights perfectly timed, and he doesn’t even need to touch the Polisy interface. This system has truly simplified his life, and I’m excited to expand it further with Somfy blinds in the near future. Another happy user of Polisy!
