Hi everyone! I wanted to share some of my recent experiences with my smart home setup. It’s been an amazing journey, but of course, there have been some bumps along the way. 
First, I’d like to talk about my recent purchase of the GOVEE LED Strip Pro. I installed them around my house, and they’ve been a game-changer for my outdoor lighting. However, I have about 20cm of extra strip that I had to loop around. Does anyone know how I can permanently turn off a section of the strip while still being able to use all my scenes? I’d love to hear your tips! 
Another thing I’ve been experimenting with is my smart lighting system. I recently added some RGBW lights around my windows to give the illusion that someone is home, even when I’m out. I’ve been using Zigbee bulbs, but I’m curious if anyone has experience with Z-Wave options that might be more reliable. Any recommendations would be appreciated! 
On a lighter note, I’ve been having a blast with my Echo Pops. I love how I can play music in different rooms, but I’m still trying to figure out how to get them to play different playlists simultaneously. Does anyone know a workaround for this? It would be awesome to have rock music in the living room while country music plays in the kitchen!
