My SmartHome Journey: Repairs, Deals, and Excitement

I’ve always been fascinated by the potential of smart home technology to make daily life more convenient and enjoyable. Recently, I had the opportunity to put this passion into practice by repairing an older model Le Bistro automated pet feeder. The device had a faulty circuit board, but with a bit of creativity and some help from the NodeMCU/ESP8266 and Konnected.io, I was able to breathe new life into it. The process involved replacing the faulty board with a relay switch and integrating it with SmartThings, allowing me to control the feeder via my smartphone or schedule feedings using the Smart Lighting app. It’s been a rewarding experience, and I’m excited to share the details with anyone interested in a similar project!

On another note, I stumbled upon some fantastic deals from Govee that have me excited for the upcoming Halloween season. Their net lights and ground lights are perfect for creating a spooky ambiance, and I’m looking forward to incorporating them into my home decor. It’s amazing how technology can enhance our ability to celebrate and enjoy special occasions. I’m also thrilled to have reached a milestone of 1500 followers on my journey, thanks to the supportive community here. I’m grateful for everyone’s encouragement and look forward to sharing more experiences and tips in the future. Stay curious and keep exploring the endless possibilities of smart home innovation! :rocket:
