It’s been a journey, but the result has been fantastic!A week ago, I became the proud owner of a Homey Bridge, taking on its beta status with enthusiasm. My goal was to create a seamless smart home ecosystem, and I’m thrilled to say it’s working beautifully. I’ve been focusing on adding a smart thermostat and a smart TRV in my bedroom, and after some research, I decided to go with Netatmo and Tado. Both are supported by Homey, and while I initially thought Netatmo might be more solid, Tado’s widespread support and modulating boiler compatibility won me over.The installation process was smooth, and the integration with Homey has been a breeze. I’ve been able to set up energy-saving options, track consumption insights, and even manage the sound levels of my TRV. The support from the community has been invaluable, and I’ve learned a few tricks along the way, like optimizing battery life and ensuring silent operation.One thing I’m particularly excited about is how Homey handles notifications. Previously, I had issues with my Wyze cameras not alerting me consistently, but with Homey, everything is now in sync.
