My Very First Aqara Device

Hello everyone! :partying_face: Celebrating the Aqara Forum 1st Anniversary :clinking_glasses:

My very first Aqara device was the Smart Lock U200 (ordered in July 2025 from Amazon NL). :door: :key:

The main reason I went for it was pretty practical: I wanted a fingerprint-based lock so we could stop relying on physical keys. With relatively young kids in the house, it just felt like a safer and more convenient option, lowering the risk of lost keys or them being stuck outside waiting for me.

It also helped that it was on a good discount at the time, which made the decision easier.

So far, it’s been a solid entry into the Aqara ecosystem :+1:

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing! Fingerprint locks for kids is really useful. We do the same.

Hey @MilanP, thanks for sharing your story!
For me automated lights and leaving the house is the biggest benefit in our Smart Home. Getting the U200 was definitely a game changer!
