My latest Aqara product for my smart home is the Aqara Smart Hub S1 Plus – and I have to say, it really looks great.
For me, a smart home device isn’t just about how many features it offers. It should also fit nicely into the home without looking like another piece of tech. And that’s exactly what I like about the S1 Plus.
The display looks modern and stylish, while the hub also serves as a central control point for my smart home. I can control many of my automations and devices directly from it, which makes everyday life much more convenient.
Whether it’s lights, sensors or other smart home routines, I can control and automate many things directly through the S1 Plus. It also gives me a quick overview without having to reach for my smartphone every time.
What I especially like is how well the S1 Plus combines design and functionality. It doesn’t feel like another gadget sitting around – it actually fits perfectly into my smart home.
I’m excited to see what other possibilities I can explore with more Aqara devices and automations. For me, the S1 Plus is already a great addition to my smart home.

hanks for the kind words! So far, I have paired the Panel Hub S1 Plus with the Aqara Video Doorbell G4 and a temperature and humidity sensor, as well as several of my smart lights, my smart thermostats, and my blinds.
One of my favorite automations is having the live video feed from the G4 pop up directly on the panel whenever someone rings the doorbell—it is super practical to see who is at the door right away without having to grab my phone. Keeping an eye on the room climate via the sensor and controlling the lights, thermostats, and blinds right from the wall display has also made everyday use really convenient!
